The Amazing Spider-man was written by Paragon Software in 1990. It's an awesome platform game! I've loved it ever since I first played it. Since I've been decoding so many other games, this one seemed to be an ideal one to decode. The CGA graphics were easy to decode, but the VGA was pretty tricky. The VGA graphics are hard coded in the EXE. I not only had to decode them, but also find them. I also had to find the palette. It involved a lot of disassembling, but there came good 'ol Sourcer.

New version 2.0, released April 4th, 2002 (almost a year after the first) includes a bug fix relating to the VGA blocks. Something I fixed nearly a year ago, but never got around to releasing. It also includes EGA support. When you change the video type, it no longer goes back to the first file in the list, so you can compare the different resolutions easier. It also includes a palette viewer.
